For the most severe corrosion environments we offer X-309 barrels. It's a nickel-boron-chrome alloy that is essentially iron free (less than 1 percent). Its virtual freedom from iron eliminates melt contamination by iron-based black specks in the most corrosive extrusive environments - extrusion of FEP medical tubing, for example.
