WRG Water Ring Pelletizer

The water ring pelletizer was developed to provide a modern, cost effective alternative to strand and underwater pelletizing of thermoplastics and thermoplastics elastomers. The waterring pelletizer, an energy efficient cutting system features a horizontal die plate, without water contacting the cutting surface and a variable speed drive system. The knife clearance can be adjusted while in operations. The pellets are cut in a molten stage, not emerged in water which greatly reduces the driving power. Waterring pelletizers are commonly used for palletizing of thermoplastics such as LDPE, HDPE, PP, PS, ABS, SAN, PA, PMMA, etc. Waterring pelletizers are available for polymer rates of 500 to 15,000 lb./hr
