Engineered Storage Products welded silos are produced in a dedicated production facility, with strict quality controls. Welds are performed to ASME standards and inspected in the plant. Before coatings are applied to carbon steel silos, the tank surface is steel grit blasted. Coating systems are applied and baked on in an oven that can handle tanks up to 14 feet (4.27 meters) in diameter and 85 feet (25.91 meters) long in a single pass. The completed silo is delivered to the erection site as a single unit, ready to position and put into service.
