Ward/Kraft Commercial/Short Run Division is enhancing plastic card production with the equipment expansion of an Atlantic Zeiser machine, adding unique new features while cutting down production time.
The AZ machine benefits customers with advantages such as UV curable drop-on-demand imaging, camera verification, affixing scratch off labels, improved printing capabilities, and sorting cards per customer requirements.

According to AtlanticZeiser.com, drop-on-demand imaging offers advanced processing speeds at a lower cost in contrast to thermal printing, and decreases card personalization costs. Camera verification enables the AZ machine to read and verify information on cards, eliminating misprints.
The AZ machine has a wider print width, allowing it to print vertically and horizontally on various sizes of cards. AZ machine satisfies the needs of most point-of-sale systems, which request higher resolution.
Once the printing process is complete, the AZ machine can sort quantities for specialty orders, decreasing distributor wait time by eliminating sorting by hand.
