Vortex® Mobile Demonstration Unit Hits The Road In China

Vortex announces the launch of its new Mobile Display Unit (MDU) in the People's Republic of China. Based out of Vortex's Shanghai office, the MDU is outfitted with state-of-the-art valve technology and travels directly to dry processing facilities throughout Eastern China.

"Vortex's valve designs are made to eliminate material leakage, reduce wear, increase service life, and provide greater maintenance capabilities," commented Travis Young, Vice President of International Business Development. "The Mobile Display Unit provides our clients with a ‘hands-on' experience, which facilitates a greater dialogue on how Vortex can help improve their processes."

The MDU showcases a wide range of Vortex's innovative dry material handling diverters, slide gates, and iris valves. The valves are applied in a wide range of applications, handling fine powders to large aggregates in pneumatic, vacuum, or gravity flow conveying systems.

The addition of the Chinese Mobile Display Unit brings Vortex's worldwide fleet to a total of six. Vortex Mobile Display Units travel throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.
