The Vortex Aggregate Gate valve is designed to meet the demanding applications associated with handling materials such as sand, gravel, whole grains and coal. Many options are available to accommodate abrasive material and harsh environments.

Features

• Nylon blade guide / gate liner – extends service life and eliminates metal on metal contact (and associated binding problems) between blade and gate.
• Greasable hardened steel rollers – easily accessible
• Abrasion resistant, reinforced rubber seals
• Heavy-duty material deflectors – protects seals and rollers.
• Material displacement pocket – minimizes wedging of material upon gate closure. Provides material shut off, even if material prevents full gate closure
