Vortex® Adds To Mobile Display Unit Fleet

With more prospective customers spanning the globe, but less people attending tradeshows, Vortex® Valves is adding a 14.2 feet (4.3 meters) trailer to its fleet of Mobile Display Units (MDU). Sales representatives with Vortex Valves' Central European office will take its traveling show room to the customer's facility where they will give potential and existing customers live product demonstrations to engineers, maintenance personnel and purchasing managers.

Vortex's MDU is designed to be a hands-on demonstration vehicle, with operational Vortex slide gates and diverters supplied with a source air to demonstrate how the product would work in a specific application. The MDU is outfitted with state-of-the-art technology and the most popular Vortex Valves. The valves are fully functional and operational allowing prospective customers to see how they work.

"The Mobile Display Unit gives us a unique way to meet with customers and introduce them to Vortex products," said Russ Barragree, Vortex Valves' Director of Global Marketing. "It allows us the opportunity to see many of our customers that do not regularly attend tradeshows."

Vortex companies in North America, Asia and Latin America operate similar MDUs for customers in those regions.
