The V-Line system with its exceptional accuracy in measuring and injection is able to ensure very stable injection from low to high speeds. In order to achieve super-precision molding the V-Line system is equipped with a high-response servo valve, which monitors speed, and pressure changes.
Plasticization Unit
The plasticization unit, which is separate from the injection mechanism, is attached horizontally and independently. Unlike the in-line machines, the Sodick V-Line screw remains stationary during injection, thus reducing abrasion and wear. Since the screw dose not reciprocate in the axis direction during plasticizing, material shear is minimized therefore eliminating melt temperature variations.
Injection Unit
Due to the latest computer controls of the Sodick Servo Technology, the Tuparl can accurately control injection speeds in a range from 0.1 to 1500mm/sec. The system is fully closed loop through the feedback received from a position encoder and a ram pressure sensor.
