Features:
- Four types of fluorescent UV lamps are available F40-UVB, 313nm UVB, UVA-340, and UVA-351.
- Temperature range: 50 degrees to 95 degrees C.
- Countdown timer controls test duration.
- Total hours operation meter.
- Independent UV and condensation cycle switches.
- Specimen holders for 3" x 12" panels or 20 specimen holders for 4" x 12" panels.
- Meets requirements of SAE J2020, ASTM G53, JIS D0205, BS 2782, Part 5 and numerous other national and international test specifications.
- Specimen spray for thermal shock or water-initiated erosion.
- Strip chart recorder.
- Aquanizer(TM) water deionizer system.
- F40-UVB: These lamps offer high energy in the short wavelength UV region of the spectrum.
- 313nm UVB: Similar to the F40-UVB lamps, but with a higher output for faster acceleration. These lamps have an output primarily in the UV-B region with a peak at 313nm.
UVA-340: The UVA-340 spectral output is primarily in the UV-A region with small amounts in the UV-B region (295-365nm) and has a peak emission at 340nm. It provides better correlation with outdoor exposure because it is a closer approximation of the UV portion of natural sunlight. - UVA-351: The UVA-351 lamp is primarily used to roughly simulate indoor or automotive interior lightfastness test conditions. With spectral output between 295-410nm, it provides a sunlight through window glass effect.
