Using high-frequency sound waves and carefully supplied pressure, ultrasonic welding causes thermoplastic part halves to melt at their interfaces and form a molecular bond. Our Omega II MPX, MPS and S models are available in 20, 30 and 40 kHz frequencies to handle most any application. Omega II welders feature on-screen monitoring of all process parameters for complete production control. Depending on the model, several weld modes can be used including: constant time, constant stack height, constant travel and constant energy.
