Type 30 Rovings

Owens Corning has a variety of Type 30 rovings to meet your specifications and fabrication needs, and the following are now available with Advantex glass fiber:

366 Type 30 roving is specifically designed for use in filament winding and pultrusion applications with polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resin systems. 366 products have also been used successfully in MODAR (acrylic) resins.

111A Type 30 roving is specifically engineered for use in knitting and filament winding applications with polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resin systems and offers excellent processing and fast wet-out.

R25H Type 30 roving has compatibility with polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resins. The roving is designed to be used in both filament winding and pultrusion applications.

466 Type 30 roving is intended for use in filament winding and weaving. The 466 size is specifically designed for fast wet-out and good processing and handling characteristics. The 466 sizing system processes well in polyester resin and is also compatible with epoxy resin.

346 Type 30 roving is designed to offer high performance, fast wet-out, good processing and excellent handling in epoxy filament winding operations.

R43S Type 30 roving has a silane based size designed for use in thermoplastics. The roving can perform particularly well in PA (nylon), but can also be used in a wide range of thermoplastic polymers such as PP, PC and PPS.

162A Type 30 roving is designed to be used in muffler or silencer filling processes.
