  • Maintenance Training - This class is designed with the novice in mind. Areas of the machine that are discussed in this class include, all mechanical systems, the hydraulics system, and the electrical control system. How to read hydraulic and electrical schematics including the symbols, diagrams layout (title block, numbering system for components, ect.), and suggested troubleshooting techniques are covered. The class ends with the students troubleshooting machines that have been set-up with faults put into the machines. Class size is limited to nine students per session and classes fill quickly.
  • Process Training - This class is designed for the beginning supervisor or process technician. Subjects discussed in class are basic materials, machine controls, common part defects and their causes, and auxiliary equipment. Students are given the chance to start a mold in a machine with only the knowledge of the material to test their skills.
  • Electric Machine Training - This class is a combination of the maintenance and processing class for our All-Electric MD Series Injection Molding Machine. The simplicity of design for this all-electric technology makes it possible to incorporate these two classes into one. The hands on portion of this class is the same as the processing training with the student setting up a process from scratch.

Our training program is headed up by Mark Zulas, our applications engineer with over twenty years of experience in the plastics industry. The program was developed with the help of our service department and its' personal to try to build a well rounded program. Input from past and future students are not only accepted but encouraged.

Cost
There is no cost for Niigata's training program to our valued customers. There is a small charge ($50.00) to cover the cost of books and documentation. Lunch is provided by Niigata on the day of class and if a student is coming from out of town, airport pick-up can be arranged.
