TPE Solutions Introduces New Product Line Of TPE Offerings

Shirley, MA — TPE Solutions, Inc., a worldwide distributor and seller (plus technical solutions service provider) of industry's broadest lines of TPEs (TPRs, TPVs and TPOs, among others), announces that the company is now selling a full line of thermoplastic urethanes (TPUs). The compounds are inventoried in the U.S.

According to company sources, TPUs - noted for their high abrasion resistance and ease of processing - are immediately available in a broad range of hardness grades from 69 Shore A to 75 Shore D, have special soft touch characteristics, and are offered as well in special FR and overmolding grades. Potential applications include automotive, consumer and industrial goods and wire and cable, among others. They are marketed under the tradenames Pearlthane® and Pearlcoat® for injection molding and extrusion applications and are produced by the world's only stand-alone and largest privately-held held thermoplastic urethane producer, Merquinsa of Barcelona, Spain.
