Stopol Auctions To Host Auction Of Moll Industries' New Braunfels, Texas, Plant
Solon, OH - Stopol Auctions, L.L.C. will host and webcast an auction on 8th February, 2007, to sell plastics manufacturing equipment from discontinuing injection molding operations at Moll Industries, Inc.'s New Braunfels, Texas, plant.
Stopol Auctions will conduct a live auction at 9:05 a.m. (CST) February 8 at Moll Industries' New Braunfels facility and air the event on its webcast portal so that bidders from all over the world can participate in the event using their PCs. Stopol Auctions will hold a preview at the plant February 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (CST). Interested bidders also may contact Stopol Auctions to arrange for a private inspection.
The Moll Industries auction will feature more than 65 injection molding machines from some of the top brands in plastics processing, including Cincinnati Milacron, Van Dorn, Toshiba, JSW, Engel, Demag, Battenfeld, HPM, Toyo and Mitsubishi. The event also will feature over 25 robots, several fork trucks, and an array of toolroom equipment and accessories.
Moll Industries is closing three plants - Fort Smith, Ark.; LaVergne, Tenn.; and New Braunfels, Texas - to focus its resources on areas of strategic importance and strength. All three closing facilities primarily were involved in manufacturing major home appliances and some consumer products.
