Splash Lube Gold Compounds

RTP Company's Splash Lube Gold compounds are based on proprietary, patent-pending technology. They incorporate specially formulated high temperature nylons, internal lubricants, and other additives, delivering top wear performance in applications such as thrust washers, wear sleeves, sealing rings, and pump bushings. They offer significant cost savings versus alternative, high temperature thermoplastic solutions.

These compounds offer exceptionally low wear for both high load/low speed and low load/high speed applications up to 250,000 ft-lb/in2min. Their wide pressure * velocity (PV) performance window and superior weld line strength make them an excellent choice for heavy equipment, small engine, and transmission manufacturers.

A key feature is their superior retention of tribological, tensile, and flexural properties. More than 95% of such properties are retained when the compounds are aged for 4000+ hours in both air and transmission fluid at 120C.

Splash Lube Gold compounds are dimensionally stable and mold flat, eliminating expensive baking and machining steps. They are easy to process and require no special handling.
