No matter what your mold constraints, RJG can find a way to sense your pressure. Our technology allows you to sense pressure even in the most difficult mold. Our engineers tackle special applications, working with you to design and develop a system which meets your unique needs. If your mold doesn't have ejector pins and is too tiny for flush mount transducers, our TP and TS custom core and sleeve transducers can directly sense your mold pressure. In some cases, a mold's existing ejector sleeve or core pin can be converted into a pressure sensor after simple engineering modifications. This RJG-patented design works because the core or sleeve is under pressure imposed by the melt during injection. This means that strain gages can be bonded to the component and then wired to a cable. The cable exits the mold where the electrical signal outputs the pressure reading. If you need a custom-built sensor, we'll provide an engineering drawing detailing the required core or sleeve dimensional modifications. We then gage and calibrate your sensor component so that it meets ISO 9000 specifications.
