SimTech(TM) is a PC based injection molding machine simulator designed to help molders hone their molding skills, without wasting machine time, plastic, or risking damage to the machine or mold.

SimTech is designed to bridge the gap between learning molding as a technology and applying molding skills on the production floor. It can be used in conjunction with Paulson CD courseware, or by itself as a virtual molding machine.

Molders operate SimTech just like real molding machines: Set molding conditions, cycle the machine, and learn the effects of each control setting. Following each cycle, SimTech provides detailed output data that help users hone their molding skills. After molding a good part, SimTech challenges users to increase their score by decreasing cycle time.

Mathematically based, SimTech performs 20 million calculations each cycle ensuring accurate outputs. Featuring full motion video, 20 adjustable machine controls, and seven machine alarms, SimTech also includes six different parts and five plastic materials.
