Job Title Maintenance Manager

Job/Company Description The best fit will be an individual who brings updated maintenance management skills and qualifications. The position includes both facilities and machine maintenance in a 3 building facility totaling 300,000 sq. feet (a combination of manufacturing, storage, and finished goods warehouse locations.) The manager will produce budgets and plans, deal with contractors, etc. There will be responsibility for the tool crib area. The ideal candidate will probably be a second in command (supervisor) at a larger company, now ready for the manager position or a manager in a similar sized company with stagnant growth. Someone already a manager in much smaller operation ($20MM) will probably not be a fit. Plastics is highly desired but not a knockout. Thermoforming would be ideal followed by paper, blow, sheet extrusion, or injection processes. Total staff of approximately 25 maintenance dept employees.

Required Experience
They must be able to lead, develop, and train the maintenance staff. This manager will handle preventative maintenance, and analyze sources of repetitive breakdown. They will understand the logic and function, input and output of PLC's (not necessarily how to write the programming.) They will bring good hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic mechanics.
