Brown offers Continuous Models in two configurations for different applications. The SR (Steel Rule Die) Series consists of infeed, chain rails, oven, form station, integral steel rule die, trim station, and end-product upstacker. The C- and CS-Series consist of infeed, chain pin rails, oven, form station, separate Trim press, and end-product handler. The CS-Series utilizes electric servo drives for platen movement. The C-Series uses air actuated platens. The C- and CS-Series may be coupled to an extruder on an in-line basis for truly continuous extrusion-thermoforming. (See B-Line.) Numerous machine options enable the customer to tailor the machine to his specific application.
Typically, the Continuous Models process plastic rolls from thicknesses of 0.010 inches (2.54mm) up to 0.100 inches (25.40mm) thick.
