Improve wear resistance of crystalline thermoplastics at very low load levels (1% or less) with PFPE (perfluoropolyether modifier) compounds. PFPE compounds made with acetal perform similarly to acetal containing 15%-20% PTFE. Curently, these compounds are also available in nylon. They demonstrate improved flexural and fatigue strength, which is particularly important for gears.

The PFPE modifier meets USP Plastics Class VI requirements and is NAMSA tested for use in medical devices and tubing.
