NOVATEC, Inc. Launches New Brochure To Describe Its Vl Series Vacuum Loaders

Baltimore, MD - A new brochure from NOVATEC, Inc. uses clear, feature-by-feature illustrations to highlight the user-friendliness and reliability of VL Series vacuum loaders, the company announced recently.

In basic form, these self-contained systems for supplying pellets and regrind to a drying hopper or blender are non-proportioning (for pulling resin from a single source) but, with the addition of a proportioning valve, can be used to pull materials from two sources. The four-page brochure focuses on the benefits of these standard components:

• Electro-polished stainless steel body that resists scratching and is easy to clean.
• ‘No-Load' alarm and silencer to ensure that the flow of resin is continuous and that there is no interruption of production.
• Remotely mounted Logo! mini-PLC control. This compact plug-in unit can be placed where it is convenient for the operator. It provides programming and monitoring capabilities for load/unload cycles, filter cleansing, and (on the appropriate models), material proportioning.
• Compressed-air ‘blowback' for filter cleansing, with accumulator tank to ensure sufficient air capacity.
• Modular chamber with tool-less access, for quick cleanout and material changeover.
• Neoprene gaskets between modular sections to prevent loss of vacuum. The gaskets are incorporated in a way that prevents their coming into contact with resin.

Models in the VL series are available for throughputs from 50 to 500 lb./hr. (23 to 227 kg/hr) and maximum conveying distances from 40 to 50 ft. (12 to 15 m). An optional external valve provides proportioning capability for non-proportioning loaders. All VL Series loaders come with a two-year warranty.
