National Adhesives Introduces Recyclable Fiber Drum For Its PUR Panel Laminating Adhesives

Bridgewater, NJ - National Adhesives (www.nationaladh.com) has introduced the FIBRECYCLE K.E.G. (Keep Earth Green) Packaging Solution, a 100% recyclable drum for the company's PUR-FECT-LOK line of panel laminating adhesives.

The FIBRECYCLE K.E.G. packaging solution is a new fiber drum packaging alternative to conventional steel adhesives storage drums that enables manufacturers to recycle 100% of their used drums, reduce waste, receive up to 12% more product per drum, reduce handling, maximize storage space, reduce drum changes and improve operations with easier handling.

Because they are made of light-weight fiber, the drums can be easily moved once empty, energy costs are reduced as the fiber drum insulates the heated adhesive, and the drums can be recycled for additional cash flow. Employee safety is also increased, as fiber drums don't conduct heat to surfaces, reducing the risk of contact burns.

National Adhesives (www.nationaladh.com) is a unit of Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, a global leader in adhesives technologies. National Adhesives offers liquid emulsion, solvent-borne solution and hot melt adhesives to customers worldwide. National Adhesives' products are based on polyurethane, acrylic, rubber, ethylene vinyl acetate, epoxy, polyvinyl acetate and starch and dextrin chemistries.
