Morthane® PS186-400 is a member of a series of ester- based thermoplastic elastomers. These polymers are characterized by excellent tear and abrasion resistance. A key feature of polyester urethanes is their superior toughness and excellent low temperature flexibility, which makes them the polymer of choice when designing products that must endure severe physical conditions. Broad compatibility with other polymers opens the possibility to novel polymer blends with unusual properties. Its ease of processability and wide field of application offers the processor a cost effective option in today's marketplace. PS186-400 is an excellent general purpose resin for use in injection molding applications. It is generally not recommended for extrusion applications.
