Moldflow Announces Injection Molding Performance Management System

Latest release allows manufacturers to measure efficiency, automate reporting and optimize inventories faster

Framingham, MA — Moldflow Corporation, the leading global provider of design through manufacturing solutions for the plastics injection molding industry, today announced the immediate availability of Celltrack™ 2.1, a real-time performance management system that measures efficiencies, automates reporting and optimizes physical and human assets on the manufacturing floor.

Improvements in Celltrack 2.1 include:

  • New statistical process control (SPC) options allow for the monitoring of new process parameters
  • Enhanced SPC/SQC profile display with unlimited animated overlay can be used for diagnosing manufacturing problems
  • Improved user interface for PC clients and machine operators increases ease-of-use
  • Scheduler improvements provide better visibility of estimated completion dates
  • Part traceability is now improved through the recording of every event
  • Parts can now be labeled as good, bad or quarantined, which ultimately eliminates the chance of bad parts entering the supply chain
