Features & Benefits

  • Advanced design provides exceptionally fast, easy servicing. Hand knobs make it easy to unlatch the front access door, tilt the hinged hopper back and out of the way, to access the bed knives and rotor.
  • The screen and cradle's pivoting, drop-down design allows fast, convenient removal. The cradle is a pull-away design and the screen is reversible for double-the-life.
  • Cutting chamber is machined and bolted for ease of servicing.
  • The scooped rotor design provides positive feeding. It accommodates blow molded shapes and bulky parts so they are ingested into the cutting area quickly rather than bouncing around in the chamber creating noise and wasting energy.
  • Cumberland-manufactured knives are HCHC (D-2) steel, specially heat treated with our proprietary process for exceptionally long life, so knife maintenance and replacement costs are minimized.

* "Thruput values are approximate only and are dependent upon your specific application. Variables such as material type, form and temperature, feed method, rotor configuration, knife sharpness and design, screen size, as well as evacuation system configuration all contribute to the overall capability of the equipment. Contact Cumberland Engineering for more specific information regarding your application."
