The Millenium 1634 is the industry's first granulator to offer a Block & Liner granulating chamber. This new technology, combined with numberous engineering refinements, result in the Millenium's low total-owning-and operating costs. Block & Liner Technology Block & Liner chamber technology takes advantage and optimizes the characteristics of two construction materials. The Outer Block provides a heavy chassis or "tub" into which the inner cutting chamber liner is installed and is cast of ductile iron for superior strength, stability and sound-attenuation. The Inner Liner consists of steel inner cutting chamber liner-plates. These bolt-in liner-plates can be specified in hardness to suit the application and are field replaceable.

- A cutting chamber system with: 4 edge reversible bed knives and bed knife clamps; replaceable wear plates; heavy duty, ductile iron cutting chamber
- A screen chamber with: a drop down power assist screen cradle; reversible steel screen (5/16 standard)
- A rotor providing: 16.5 in. cutting circle;
- D2 knives; open 3 blade configuration; outboard pillow block bearings
- Extended rotor shaft for optional second flywheel
