MagChem 50 is a high purity technical grade of magnesium oxide processed from magnesium-rich brine. This fine white powder has a very high reactivity index, low bulk density, and excellent flow properties.

MagChem 50 is well suited for chemical reactions where high reactivity and rapid conversion to magnesium hydroxide are required because of its very high surface area. MagChem 50 has high purity and controlled activity which makes it an excellent magnesium source for the manufacture of many magnesium compounds. MagChem 50 is used in rubber compounding, plastic thickening, filtrate clarification, odor removal, and a variety of selective adsorptions.
