Kleerdex Company Earns NSF International Splash Zone Rating For KYDEX 3D Laminate Thermoplastic Sheet
Bloomsburg, PA - Kleerdex Company, manufacturer of KYDEX thermoplastic sheet, has received the splash zone approval rating from NSF International for its entire line of 3D laminate products. The approval rating paves the way for KYDEX sheet use in countertops, tabletops, and other applications where surfaces have incidental contact with food and beverages.
The list of KYDEX sheet products approved for splash zone use includes:
- KYDEX 100
- KYDEX 110
- KYDEX 130
- KYDEX 150
- KYDEX 152WG
- KYDEX 510
- KYDEX HD
- KYDEX T
- KYDEX WG
- KYDEX XD
NSF International certifies products and writes standards for food, water, and consumer goods. It offers certification in two broad categories:
- splash zone, where the food has incidental contact with the material; and
- food zone, a stricter certification intended for longer exposure to food products, such as food preparation areas.
Kleerdex's line of KYDEX 107 previously earned the stricter food zone certification.
