Kent Systems Makes Biodegradable Plastic Fittings
Kent Systems is doing their part with helping the environment by offering a biodegradable line of plastic fittings.
Loveland, CO (Vocus/PRWEB )-- Kent Systems is doing their part with helping the environment by offering a biodegradable line of plastic fittings.
Over the years Kent Systems has introduced a number of firsts into the marketplace. Now Kent Systems has done it again by introducing the first biodegradable fittings to the market.
"As a plastics company, we need to do everything we can to reduce our impact on the environment. This line of fittings gives new options to our customers," said Linda Sampson, CEO.
While the biodegradable fittings may not work for everyone, KENT Systems has targeted markets that work at lower pressures and that are forced to throw-away fittings on a regular basis.
"Why throw away a standard plastic fitting when a biodegradable fitting will work just as well for their application? We are happy to offer this new eco-friendly option to our customers," said Adam Bauer, Account Representative.
The new fitting line is made from a biodegradable resin made from 80 percent corn starch that is fully biodegradable and made from regenerable resources.
KENT Systems has been designing and developing quick couplings for over 10 years. They sell product all over the world through phone, fax and through their website at KentSystems.com. The company offers a wide variety of quick coupling product lines ranging in size from a 1/16" barb to 1/2" barb. Kent Systems products are made in the USA.
