Kamco Plastics Acquired By KPI, Will Continue Operations In Tandem With CIMA Plastics Corporation

Chicago, IL - KPI Holding Company ("KPI") recently announced it has acquired the assets of Kamco Plastics Inc. ("Kamco") of Schaumburg, Illinois. KPI will assume the name Kamco Plastics, Inc.

Kamco, a 35-year old custom plastic injection molder and sub-assembly provider owned and operated by Norb Kaiser, specializes in value-added technologies and services for the appliance, automotive and industrial markets. KPI Chair Alicia Campos says, "Kamco will continue serving without disruption all of its customers with skilled employees in the US and in Kamco's facility in Reynosa, Mexico."

Campos says Kamco will join forces with KPI's sister company CIMA Plastics Corporation ("CIMA"). Located in West Chicago, Illinois, CIMA is a Tier II plastic injection molding company offering several molding technologies for decorative components used by the automotive and electronic industries. "Combining CIMA's expertise in two-shot molding, in-mold decorating, engineering and production with Kamco's tool-making capabilities such as sonic welding, assembly, decoration, packaging and logistics, the new company will be able to provide a total solution to its customers," says Campos.

Norb Kaiser, owner of Kamco, says, "I'm proud of the organization and business that we have built. My wife, Lyn, and I are confident that Alicia Campos will guide the company successfully into the future. I am looking forward to working with her in the coming years to ensure a successful and smooth transition."

Billow Butler & Company, LLC ("BBC"), a boutique middle market investment bank in Chicago, represented the Kaiser Family in the sale of Kamco and introduced the transaction to Campos and KPI. BBC specializes in plastics industry transactions.
