Jasper Rubber Products Finds The Right Tools In Solarsoft ERP System

As a growing company, Jasper Rubber sought to replace its existing heavily customized legacy system in order to integrate the various functions of the business, gain real-time shop floor data, and improve inventory tracking.

While Jasper Rubber has exceptional finished goods inventory accuracy, there was room for improvement in the tracking of work in progress (WIP). “Our production scheduling group heavily relies on the accuracy of our WIP reporting. Inaccurate WIP data often causes us to run product unnecessarily because we actually had what we thought we didn’t or causes us to expedite shipments because we thought we had what we actually didn’t,” says Kuczynski. “As we’re already tracking finished goods for outbound shipments, Solarsoft’s traceability features will make it easy for us to expand the use of bar codes to track inventory from the moment it’s received through any movements between raw materials and finished goods.”
