Tooling is a critical element in ultrasonic assembly. And since each application is unique, each horn and fixture must be designed to accommodate the special requirements of that particular application. Size, shape and material composition of the tooling are always considered.
Using processes such as CAD design, Finite Element Analysis and CNC machining, we design and manufacture both standard and custom 20 kHz and 40 kHz horns and fixtures. Dukane's durable, dependable tooling can be used with Dukane plastics assembly systems, as well as competitive equipment.
