Flex-Dura(R)

Specially designed and built for the automotive and large part industries, Flex-Dura® hot runners have all the advantages of Dura®, in nozzle lengths to 800mm for deep draw cavity designs and molds which incorporate fixed side ejection.

Rugged, reliable, and easy to operate, the Flex-Dura® gives automotive and other large-part molders greater control over the melt, gate, and ultimately part quality.

Whether you're molding interior trim panels, lamp housings or bumper facia, Flex-Dura® offers sizable benefits over competing hot runners. Using proven Dura® technology and a single profile heater element, Flex-Dura® provides unmatched temperature performance, yet requires only one zone of control.

Because nozzles are screwed into the manifold and assembled cold, heat expansion tends to apply a bending movement over the length of the nozzle. Flex-Dura® absorbs this force with a natural "flex" inherent in the design. This "flexing" ensures long hot runner life and consistent performance, shot after shot.
