Film Grinders are designed specifically to provide efficient, uniform grinding of film scrap. In the cutting chamber, three rotor knives approach a stationary bed knife at a steep angle, ensuring a clean scissors-cut for maximum bulk density and best flowability of the ground scrap. After the knives, the material passes through a sizing screen and is conveyed to the process by a scrap conveying fan. All models process edge and bleed trims introduced to the cutting chamber through a Trim Receiver, which separates the trim from the conveying air. Roll scrap is fed to the Grinder by an optional Roll Feeder. Grinders are available in a wide range of sizes and are selected for each application based on the required rate and materials.
