Ferro is a leading producer of thermoplastic compounds consisting of polypropylene and other resins. Product properties are enhanced and optimized with a wide variety of fillers, reinforcements, lubricants, heat stabilizers, etc. Our unique formulations are used in a variety of applications including automotive, appliance, lawn & garden, and tools. These compounds often represent a cost effective alternative to more expensive plastics with the added advantage of recyclability. Ferro is also able to meet exact customer specifications for specialized applications such as structural components on automobiles, floor-care appliances, and even solar powered lawn mowers. Our new generation of compounds consist of proprietary polyolefin alloys which are used in advanced applications in medical, food packaging, as well as electronic packaging, and static control applications.
