Cumberland Engineering Introduces the Latest Advances in Beside-the-Press Granulators at NPE 2000, Booth #1714
The new 3-Knife Open-Scooped Ro
The new 3-Knife Open-Scooped Rotor allows the 700 Series Granulators to be functionally more versatile. Applications now include bulkier parts and small bottles. Other features include:
- Integrated rotating end discs for low-heat granulation and reduced frictional wear, a standard feature in the 700 Series Granulators.
- Standard Rotor speeds of approximately 250 RPM.
- 3 HP, 1800 RPM TEFC Motor and NEMA Type 12 electrical control enclosure.
- Optional 5 HP Motor for heavier parts and higher throughput requirements. [Available on ly on the Model 7x15 (3KN).]
- The infeed is designed for continuous hand, robotic or conveyor feeding of scrap parts and runner systems.
- Unique bolted and doweled construction ensures strength and durability.
- Machined bearing housings for precision rotor alignment and double-sealed, lubricated-for-life bearings for maintenance-free operations.
- Fully sound-attenuated and caster-mounted for a completely versatile granulator
