RJG, Inc. core pin transducers are custom-made using your preform core. Once in place, they reveal all you need to know about in-mold conditions, measuring cavity pressure, X and Y axis deflection, and tension during ejection. With this information you can control and monitor your process.

Because deflection impacts wall thickness consistency in preforms, you can set alarm limits around the X and Y axis deflection and automate the sorting of non-standard preforms. The core pin transducer shows you the amount of striping force resulting from different core designs and coatings. Hold time optimization can also be determined with these sensors by observing the effect material discharge has on concentricity and preform warp or finish.
