The new Comet FK-7 Mold Monitor is the fastest image comparison tool on the market today. The FK-7 requires only 0.2 seconds to function with one camera and 0.4 seconds with two cameras. When the maximum operating speed of the injection molding machine is used, it is still faster than any other monitoring system available. This system features a new compact design: dimensions 13.75" long x 10" high x 5" wide.
The fingertip touch-screen menu on the monitor guides you quickly and easily through all the various functions making special training unnecessary. The product watch areas check for flash, short shots, contamination, and other flaws or changes on the molded part or surface of the mold to prevent damage to cavities, core pins, and slides. Designed for demanding manufacturing environments, the FK-7 can easily be moved from machine to machine. Both the touch-screen and control panels are in one chassis to save space. Extra camera and lighting connections are standard.
