Comet CT-100 Controller for Volumetric Blenders

The Comet CT-100 Controller displays an up-to-date readout of material usage. It also has an info-seek button which displays up to 50 blender events (faults) with time and date tag. The new controller can store up to 100 recipes and easily performs the calculation for the calibration of the blender and prints out the total amount of ingredients that go into a job. This unit is capable of metering and controlling six components into one mixer. The CT-100 is retrofittable onto any existing Comet blender and other blenders using a disc feeding systems. It also has the capability of a RS232 port for SPI protocol, or other communications with a computer or printer.

CT-100: New Software
This controller features new software that calculates the amount of color required based on the presence or absence of regrind. It senses when the blender has run out of regrind and automatically turns the blender into a 2-station blender (virgin & color) until regrind is present again. When regrind is back, the controller automatically returns the blender to a 3-station blender (virgin, regrind, & color).
