Carmo Expands Production Capacity With Latest Injection Moulding Techniques To Further Strengthen Position Within Medico Plastic Components

Carmo A/S, the expert in injection moulded components for technical and medical applications, has integrated a brand-new state-of-the-art injection moulding machine into their production line of plastic and PVC components. The investment is a natural result of a resolute policy to provide customers with products of the highest quality at cost-effective prices.

Espergaerde, Denmark (PRWEB) - Carmo A/S, the expert in injection moulded components for technical and medical applications, has integrated a brand-new state-of-the-art injection moulding machine into their production line of plastic and PVC components. The investment is a natural result of a resolute policy to provide customers with products of the highest quality at cost-effective prices.

Thomas Junggreen, Head of Production, expects a lot from their latest investment: “Our new automated machine uses an electric injection technique which has enabled us to produce components made of different materials with enhanced precision. We are very pleased with this achievement since extreme precision is a fundamental concern with many of our customers world-wide – particularly within the medico and rescue industries.”

The processing techniques are quite advanced and include bi-injection, retractable and transfer moulding regardless of whether the materials have to be moulded onto each other or in between each other – the so-called 2K and 3K moulding.

“We are also very satisfied with the fact that the new injection moulding machine has proven itself to be a low-power and extremely efficient machine. This reduces energy consumption and costs of production, which in turn are substantial benefits to customers,” Thomas Junggreen points out.

The recent investment allows Carmo to develop new projects with and for their customers. Claus Ishøy, Director of Projects & Partnerships, explains: “We now have an even better ability to assist our customers when they need to develop and test tools and moulds used in 2K and 3K production. This is important to us since we value every chance we have to develop new products together with our customers.”

Based in Denmark, Carmo delivers competitively priced, high-quality injection moulded plastic and PVC components at short notice using cutting-edge technology. Their aim is to provide outstanding customer service world-wide. Their customers are to be found within industries as diverse as medico, maritime, mining, agriculture and automotive.
