Bold Series Granulators

The Nelmor tangential cutting chamber allows the feedstock to be presented in front of the rotating knives. This positive ingestion into the cutting circle eliminates dangerous flyback and bouncing of the feedstock, particularly important with containers. The result is an increase in throughput and a decrease in energy costs. The all welded construction features a three blade open winged type rotor with slant knife mounting that provides better air flow through the cutting chamber thus reducing heat buildup in the granulated product. For scrap recovery of large, blow molded bottles in the half to five litre range from PET to polyethylene, the model G1616M granulator features a tangentially fed cutting chamber with large diameter rotor to eliminate "bouncing". The open rotor offers excellent air flow and cooling of the cutting chamber to help prevent plasticization during heavy loading.

Transition level indicator: Senses blockage of evacuation system. Tray magnets for the detection of ferrous metal.
