Bayflex elastomeric RIM systems, which can be formulated both filled and unfilled, offer a range of flexural moduli together with superior impact strength, light weight and excellent surface quality and paintability. They are used in a wide variety of applications, including automotive fascia and body panels; window gasketing; agricultural equipment, such as hay conditioning rollers, tractor body panels and door frames; telecommunication equipment, such as in ground junction boxes; and recreational equipment, such as RV fascia nd golf carts.

Bayflex microcellular systems are used to produce integral skin foams using either high- or low-pressure foam technology. These foams have a cellular core combined with a tear-resistant skin to form a sandwich-like structure that provides excellent toughness over a wide range of temperatures, as well as corrosion, abrasion and wear resistance. Applications for these systems include steering wheels, encapsulation of chair arms and bases, filter gaskets, soft-feel appliance handles, and footware.

Bayflex microcellular soling systems are used to produce shoe soles that offer the footware manufacturer a combination of light weight, durability, comfort, styling freedom and economical processing. Both polyester- and polyether-based systems are available and used for men's, women's and children's dress shoes, casual shoes, sneakers and slippers, as well as hiking boots and work and safety shoes.
