APA To Debut DuraGrip TPE 6300 Series At PLASTEC West

Wilmington, DE - Advanced Polymer Alloys (APA) will debut its DuraGrip TPE 6300 series, believed to be a versatile Melt-Processible Elastomer (MPE) with outstanding elastomeric properties, as part of its exhibit at PLASTEC West 2007. APA will exhibit at booth 4053 during the show, Feb. 13-15 at the Anaheim (CA) Convention Center. APA is also offering free admission to the show, which is being held simultaneously with five other events: the Automation Technology Expo West; Medical Design & Manufacturing West; Electronics West; WestPack; and Pacific Design & Manufacturing.

DuraGrip TPE 6300 is designed with outstanding extrusion performance in mind, and offers a low-gloss finish, improved compression set, high melt strength, and good weather resistance. These properties make it ideal for profile extrusion applications like automotive exterior body moldings and windscreen and rear window seals, and wire and cable jackets. It also has potential in architectural window applications like bulb window seals. DuraGrip 6300 can be co-extruded with polypropylene and polyethylene, and its melt strength makes it ideal for ‘soft ergonomic feel' sheet and other wide web applications.

At PLASTEC, APA will also display its line of Alcryn Melt-Processible Rubber (MPR), and will include end-use samples of its entire product line for attendees to examine. The company will also conduct a giveaway of an Odyssey putter. The winner will be selected from qualified booth visitors who register for APA's quarterly e-newsletter – Material Matters. The giveaway will be conducted after the show.
