AK Series Granulators

We engineered our AK68 and AK812 Auger Granulators to be fully portable and automatic, ruggedly constructed to withstand high, demanding loads with bearings mounted outside the cutting chamber, and fully machined and balanced rotor.

• Emergency stop push button mounted at the end of auger trough
• Reversing flight on auger: prevents annoying wrap-around of runners before entering the cutting chamber
• Drum reversing switch for Auger to unclog jams and provide easy cleanout.
• Easy access to cutting chamber and screen
• Open rotor design promotes cooler running of materials

All controls are conveniently positioned for ease of operation. When servicing is required, the AK Granulator need not be moved away from its production position. The cutting chamber features Nelmor's easy-open design which does not require the removal of any guards.

Standard Options:
Feed hopper over auger trough and screw for operator safety for outside the press applications. Hardface welding of cutting chamber and rotor to reduce wear caused by abrasive materials. Larger horsepower drive motors. Pneumatic evacuation system (fan) for continuous evacuation. Vacuum system take-off. NEMA 12 enclosure with fused disconnect. Zero speed switch with alarm to sense rotor slow down. Bin level indicator with alarm to sense high level in evacuation system.
