Cast of high grade aluminum alloy, the AF-1 unit will stand up to the loads and vibrations of the most demanding application.
3/4" and 1" augers are standard and each auger is installed in a companion barrel sleeve with the correct amount of clearance. Other sizes are also available to suit application.
Heavy duty D.C. motor operates smoothly, even at low speeds.
Constant torque control through entire speed range and remote panel mounting are standard with the AF-1.
Other standard features of the AF-1 include sampling chute, hopper dump slide gate, lightweight hopper and lid, swing away drive for quick color and/or auger changing.
The AF-1 can be hand fed, or with the Mould-tek VIM-50 automatic loader it can be incorporated into fully automatic systems.
The AF-1 is also available with isolated signal follower to monitor extruder screw RPM and adjust feeder let down rate to compensate for any change.
