The Aeroboy is a CNC Programmable Degater System that is directly mounted to the robot beam manipulator. This innovative CNC degating system minimizes floor space and high labor costs associated with hand degating of sprues. Finally, a cost effective degater for those using robots.
Once the part is in place, the Aeroboy moves to pre-programmed multiple gate locations for degating. The advantage of this operation is to save valuable floor space. This degater can be programmed to cut any gate configuration of different molded parts, therefore saving mold set-up and change time. The Aeroboy can also be programmed to match the robot manipulator's operating sequences to operate together in sequence.
The Aeroboy can be installed onto any brand of injection molding machine starting with a 150 to 200 ton clamping capacity. Also, Aeroboy can be expanded to work on 850 ton machines with larger X-Y-Z travel requirements.
