300 Ton Tiebarless
With a tieb
With a tiebarless machine, you gain a substantially larger platen area that can accommodate larger, more complex molds. Conventional machines often force molders to use larger tonnage machines than an application needs because their mold cannot physically fit between tiebars at the ideal tonnage.
The new 300-ton tiebarless machine is available with two control packages: the EC100 and the CC100. Both packages offer smart pump hydraulics and Engel's RISC-based distributed intelligence machine control, which allows for virtually limitless expandability.
The EC100 precision package can handle the majority of injection molding applications. It features a standard, high-resolution color display, a single smart pump and self-tuning temperature control.
The CC100 advanced package offers even greater flexibility and performance, with its state-of-the-art color graphic interface and dual smart pumps. It's also able to perform independent functions for ejectors and core pulls, and comes with more features like teleservice capability, Web interface, instantaneous language changeover and MicrographPlus - Engel's powerful software for process monitoring and quality management.
Both the EC100 and CC100 machine control packages are available on Engel's line of tiebarless machines - from 35 to 300 tons.
The Engel Tiebarless excels in high-precision molding applications - from precision gears to CDs to optical lenses. In fact, our evolved clamp technology has been proven in more than 12,000 applications around the world. And many of these machines are being used by leading molders who have made a total commitment to tiebarless technology.
KEY FEATURES | BENEFITS |
---|---|
1. Elimination of tiebars. | 1. Large usable platen surface area permits mounting of molds in more economical, smaller tonnage machines; cleaner mold envelope – no grease from tiebars. |
2. Unobstructed mold mounting area. | 2. Easier mold change; greater flexibility in mold design; doesn't interfere with core pull cylinders, rack & pinion mechanisms or automation systems. |
3. Unique frame design and innovative mechanical linkage behind the moving platen. | 3. High-precision mold alignment equal to, or better than, state-of-the-art tiebar machines. |
4. Optional quick mold mounting system on moving and stationary platen. | 4. Reduces set-up time when changing molds. |
