158B Type 30 Roving is specifically designed for use in filament winding and pultrusion applications with epoxy resin systems.

Type 30 is a family of reinforcement products designed and manufactured by Owens-Corning. The 158B Type 30 product is manufactured using state of the art technology in conjunction with statistical process control.

Type 30 products are produced by a direct draw process that pulls filaments from a bushing, applies sizing to the filaments, gathers the filaments into a strand, and winds the strand into a roving package that is ready for shipment. The packages are wound in a square edged, cylindrical form with a controlled winding pattern that will provide trouble free runout performance. The packages are then dried and wrapped with TackPak packaging. The 158B product is shipped as a tubeless inside pull package that is ready for use in customers operations.

158B Type 30 Roving can be used to manufacture filament wound pipe, tubes, or tanks or pultruded structural shapes.
