Welcome to the World Wide Web page of the Specialty Polymers & Adhesives (SP&A) Division of Ashland Chemical Company. The SP&A Division produces adhesives (or what are commonly called "glues"), and we produce synthetic polymer resins for impregnating paper and for various protective coating applications.

We provide formulated chemical products and services that satisfy a customer's need to bond, fasten, reinforce, impregnate or protect various metals, plastics, papers, films or wood. You may not recognize the SP&A Division's name or the trade names of our products. That's because we generally sell to other industrial organizations. However, you come in contact with our products every day.
