Ocean Tomo Engaged To Sell Patented Splash Proof Lid Technology For Hot And Cold Beverages

Chicago, IL - Ocean Tomo, LLC recently announced that it has been engaged to sell a patented splash proof beverage lid technology for both hot and cold beverages. The technology includes three U.S. Patents, one Canadian Patent and associated business assets. The splash proof lid system is adaptable to any variety of hot or cold beverage disposable drinking cups (e.g., paper, plastic, styrofoam or polystyrene) and provides a dramatic improvement over other commercially available lid systems. The technology improves upon other lid systems by eliminating the need for consumers to open or close a lid aperture or lid-attachment to seal the cup between sips as well as removing the need for a straw. The utility of the splash proof lid system is that it permits drinking and prevents splashing without any intervention by the beverage consumer. The lid technology dramatically reduces the likelihood of injury, damage and stains resulting from spills as compared with other lid systems currently available in the market.
